Video Game Devs PANIC Over ‘Stop Killing Games’ Petition Hitting 1 Million Signatures

Stop Killing Games was able to get enough signature on the petition in time to become a European Citizens’ Initiative, and now developers are starting to get worried.

Since the appropriate number of signatures have been reached the European Commission will now meet with the organizers to hear their case on why video game developers should stop pulling support for their games. Now a representative for many game developers is responding by stating they have to be allowed to pull support otherwise they would have to change how they do business in the future. It’s not known what will happen now, but it’s not clear if good will come from this even, or especially if, the Stop Killing Games movement succeeds.
