Notable guests witness the U.S. and Tunisian Armed Forces showcasing their operational readiness through impressive airborne operations, as well as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) tactics, and targeted assaults during the concluding event of exercise African Lion 2025 (AL25) at Camp Rimel, Bizerte, Tunisia, on April 29, 2025. As AL25 wraps up, the Tunisian Armed Forces took the chance to display their skills, strengthening multinational collaboration and tactical expertise in front of esteemed visitors. AL25 is poised to be the largest annual military exercise in Africa, uniting over 40 nations, including seven NATO allies and 10,000 troops for realistic, dynamic, and cooperative training in a challenging environment that spans multiple geographic and functional combatant commands. The exercise is led by the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) on behalf of the U.S. Africa Command, taking place from April 14 to May 23, 2025, across Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia.
