Airbrush Basics: Reducing Your Paint

Demystifying paint reduction for general airbrushing - In this video I discuss all of the different Createx reducers available for Auto Air Colors, Wicked Colors, Wicked Detail Colors and Illustration Colors. I share my opinion on which reducer is best suited for general airbrush purposes and show the manufacturers recommended reduction percentage ratios. I then demonstrate airbrushing with different paint reduction ratios at a fixed air pressure using an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and an Iwata Micron CM-C Plus. In the end, I give my recommendation for the best all-around paint reduction ratio and air pressure setting based on those comparisons, as well as my own experience.
