1 - You, and all of us were created to be the light of the world, in each moment, interaction and situation.
2 - Your function, mission and purpose in this world is to be a loving light.
3 - Each and every one of us, our true purpose, not matter what the ego says about them, is to be God's light in this world.
4 - God created you, thus it is not arrogant to be/act as God is.
5 - You, and all of us, the truth in all of us, are who God is.
6 - Before every interaction remind yourself that you are here to be a light in this world, then be that light in whatever way the moment and those in it are requesting.
7 - Your role in salvation (the release from the ego's mindset, tools and world) is to be love in each interaction.
8 - True humility is being who God created you to be. When in doubt simply allow God/love/light to lead you.
9 - By being love, you are accepting your part in God's part for salvation and the salvation of this world.
10 - Love is level one (oneness), level two is duality which is the ego's world. You are here to be Oneness within duality.
11 - You are here to break your/the ego's past judgment centric programming, then become a savior, a guide, for others.
12 - You save others by being an example of the loving light within us all.
13 - People being in truth light, can only spend so much time in darkness before they ask themselves: " is there not a better way?"
14 - Time is just a blink in eternities's eye.
15 - The answer to all illusions/temptation is "I am the light of the world". Then you be that light.
16 - Your day will mold itself to allow you the opportunities to practice your lesson.
17 - Temptation according to ACIM is all of the ego's judgment centered fear based tools.
18 - When you get triggered say: "I am the light of the world, that is my only function, that is why I am here". That is always your answer to the ego's delusional fantasies.
19 - "Better is him who is in me then he who is in the world" said another way is: the truth in you is always better than who you have programmed by the ego to be.
20 - We are all One, if the ego says things like: "your brother is unworthy of forgiveness" it is saying to you that you are also unworthy of forgiveness.
21 - The ego being itself a lie, all of its arguments are lies, thus don't sacrifice your time, focus or energy to it fantasies.
22 - Those that trigger you are showing you the blocks you are holding within to the ever present light within you.
23 - It is only when the ego is in control of your thoughts that you struggle being love/the light of the world.
24 - If the ego is in control of your thoughts, "you" will use judgment centric fear based thoughts, words, emotions and actions.
25 - If others "trigger" you it is only because you are viewing them through he ego's lens.
26 - If you are not in control of your thoughts, then you are not in control of your mind and life.
27 - When others trigger you they are simply helping you see in what aspects and situations in your life the ego, not the truth in you, is in control of your mind.
28 - The people that trigger you are your saviors, they are helping you remove the veils between you and your truth.
29 - You are not here to work through the ego, because that. only adds darkness to darkness.
30 - The thoughts you think, focus on and entertain, either lead you to heaven or hell, the heavenly mindset or the hellish mindset.
31 - Ask the Holy Spirit: "Am I holding anyone within my heart and mind with unforgiveness?" If so, please bring them to my mind so that I may forgive them and forgive myself from judging them.
32 - Be proactive, go into a situation with your goal already set: "to be the light of the world".
33 - You are " bringer of salvation" you are much needed here on Earth. God needs you here, that is why you are here.
34 - Every breath you take is a gift from God to you.
35 - You are here to help others break the chains that hold them captive to the ego's mindset and world. You do this by, in each situation, through your example, becoming the light of the world.
36 - The more you apply the lesson, the more natural and normal this behavior becomes.
37 - Be grateful to those who help you practice todays lesson, those same people the ego would demand you condemn are your saviors.

Lesson 61. I am the light of the world.

1. Who is the light of the world except God’s Son?...

2. To the ego, today’s idea is the epitome of self-glorification...

3. True humility requires that you accept today’s idea because it is God’s Voice which tells you it is true...

4. You will want to think about this idea as often as possible today...

5. As many practice periods as possible should be undertaken today, although each one need not exceed a minute or two...
