Nice fish (bass)!

AM fishing is the best! It's cooler than the afternoon and the fish seem to bite more in the AM. The lure I used today and recently that woks is a soft plastic worm, watermelon with black seed on a 'wacky rig'. Note that this rigging has NO weight so it sinks s l o w l y. So I think it looks a little more natural and enticing to the bass.

I'm happy with slow, I just have to be patient. Besides, the lures and hooks with weights get caught in the vegetation and cleaning off the 'weeds' gets old after a while and I'll have more time 'fishing' with slow then when I have to clean vegetation off the hooks on every cast. The bass can't be interested in a lure with weeds on it, right?
