I passed the café down the lane,
Where we once danced in summer rain.
Your laughter still hangs in the air,
Though I turn around… you're never there.

Your sweater’s folded, safe and still,
It rests beside the windowsill.
The scent is gone, but not the grace,
Of how you lit this empty space.

You're the echo in my soul,
The part of me that still feels whole.
In every step, in every hush,
I hear the echoes of us.
Though you're a name the world forgot,

The photographs have curled with age,
