The Great Ascent – When All the Righteous Go Up Together Psalm 122

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the House of Yahuah…”
What began as the joyful words of a pilgrim (Psalm 122) becomes, in the fullness of time, a prophecy: the day when all the righteous — from Adam to the last believer — are gathered and go up together.
This is not just a song about an ancient city. This is about the final ascent — at the sound of the great trumpet, when those who have fallen asleep and those still standing will be gathered as one.
This image is a glimpse of that moment.

Scripture Support:
Matthew 24:31
“And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
“Because the Master Himself shall come down from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the trumpet of Alahim, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first.
Then we, the living who are left over, shall be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air…”
Hebrews 11:39–40
“And having obtained witness through the belief, all these did not receive the promise, Alahim having provided what is better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.”
Revelation 7:9
“After this I looked and saw a great crowd which no one was able to count, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…”
Malaki 3:16–17
“Then those who feared Yahuah spoke to one another, and Yahuah listened and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before Him… ‘And they shall be Mine,’ said Yahuah of hosts, ‘on the day that I prepare a treasured possession.’”

Closing Thought:
This Psalm is not just nostalgia — it’s a prophetic invitation.
The joy of going up to Yerushalim is still ahead for many… and when the trumpet sounds, we won’t go alone.
We will go with Adam.
With Noach.
With Abraham.
With Ruth, with Daud, with the prophets and the persecuted —
With all who love His Name.
And the gates of Yerushalim will welcome them home.
