Deportation of illegal immigrants, a campaign promise that is being fulfilled

"Regarding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), this is really important, because this big, terrible betrayal bill is not disconnected from what we’re seeing with immigration on the streets.

In fact, it massively empowers ICE’s activities in terrorizing local communities—kidnapping, disappearing, and deporting immigrants across the country.

Currently, we spend about $3.5 billion on ICE detention. The big, terrible betrayal bill increases that figure to $45 billion. From $3.5 billion to $45 billion.

There’s also separate funding for ICE agents, for everything related to transportation, deportation—all of it.

So basically, it’s saying: whatever you’re seeing now, multiply that by 10 or 12 times. That’s what we’re going to start seeing in terms of ICE agents terrorizing, disappearing, and kidnapping immigrants, deporting them to third countries, and holding them in detention facilities.

These are jails now. They’re no longer really civil detention centers, which is what they’re supposed to be. I call them concentration camps—and we just saw that alligator-shaped one in Florida."

Someone tell her that this is a campaign promise that is being fulfilled—a promise for which American citizens who want to make America great again voted!
