During the Song, there are three short Verses each connected to the Central Message of the Song's Brief Chorus; and yet these are extremely important Teachings as they Reveal to us that we MUST Do the Work to attain Spiritual Mastery by learning to first Still and Silence our Minds away from the Chaos of the 'Out There' World, Raising us Away from the Endless 'Dime Dancing' of Chaos that the Muggles perform Daily, as their Financial Dance with the Devil...

The Muggles don't SEE us, at all, and should our Paths ever cross with them, then they 'politely' tolerate us as Different, but 'OK'...for they are but Slaves to the 'Dime Dancing' which brilliantly references the Facts, Figures and Logic of the Left Brain, the Place where our False Self, the Ego, Dwells, and represents only 10%, or the DIME, of the Brain's Capacity; and THIS is where the Muggles Dwell, as we Spiritually Grow and Raise ourselves across the Great Divide and INTO the Right Hemisphere of the Brain, which houses 90% of the Brain's Capacity, and it is HERE that Christ Yeshua references in the Book of Luke, Chapter 17, Verses 20-21...

'And when Yeshua was demanded of the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, The Kingdom of God cometh NOT with observation:

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of God is Within You...'

Thus, Steely Dan's Aja, or as Eye like to write it, Aj(n)a, is Pure Alchemy, or Hermeticism, which represents the One Truth of God, the Way One Way that Leads Us Away from Sin and into the Path of Righteousness and thus, God Himself...and in the Song, there are Two Instrumental Sections that play upon these very Teachings, as the Music is attempting to Still and Silence itself in Perfect Bliss, like seeing a Perfect Lotus Blossom for the very first time, while the Outer Chaos of the World is attempting to Enter Within our Bliss, and Destroy it with the Chaotic Sounds of All those that worship 'Dime Dancing'...

So, as you Listen to this True Masterpiece of both Songwriting and Musical Composition, FEEL the Struggle between the Calm and the Peace that is the Basis to this Beautiful Track, with the Violent Chaos of the 'Out There' World, known as Organized Society, which doesn't want ANYONE to escape from their Loud and Sinful Clutches, and the continual attempts by the Risen Man or Wombman, to SHUT OUT the Loudness of the Out There, for the Golden Silence of our Inner World, Within us, Where God Exists, ready to Commune with us from His Mercy Seat, but only if we first Journey to the Third Room of Solomon's Temple and Activate the Door to the Right (the Pineal Gland) and become the Light of the World...
