The Hunting Party - Party Animals

The Hunting Party is Oliver Reed’s first western – until The Great Scout and Cathouse Thursday (less said about that one the better) – and it’s a British American co-production filmed in Spain. Overall, it’s, well, it’s different in many ways, but the same in others. Not an easy one to tackle because many seem to recoil from it and my relationship with it is somewhat equivocal and variable depending on mood. So, let’s see if I can refocus any. Here goes.
