Bomb Rush Cyberfunk chapter 1 - Rietveld 2nd Fight, Franks vs BRC, Red's 1st memory

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is an action-adventure game developed and published by Team Reptile. The player controls a member of a graffiti Writer gang called Bomb Rush Crew as they use boostpacks traversing around New Amsterdam, paint graffiti, collect beats, combo tricks and facing authority to stake their claim to the sprawling metropolis of New Amsterdam. The game was first released in Japan on Switch on 18 August 2023 and released worldwide for Linux, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on the same day afterward.

The game's gameplay bear similarity to Jet Set Radio with the exception of an option to switch between inline skates, skateboards, and BMX with each has different hidden functions, Reputation points (Shortened as REP) which can be gained by replacing other gang's graffiti with theirs, and access to flip phone which the player can use to access available sequence for the graffities they have collected after completing a mission, music for background the player has collected so far (Some of them are found in hard-to-reach platform) which can be manually picked and turned on or off from Red's phone, access to camera with the filter option and switch point of view between front or self (The camer's POV depends on the character's animation while holding the phone) and gallery with the option to view the captured photo in full screen and delete photos. Player gained access to boostpack at the beginning of the game which can help the player reach hard-to-reach platforms with correct timing. Boostpack fuel meter can be replenished by hitting vending machines and dumpsters which will spit out some fuel orbs for the player to collect. Player character also regenerates health over time if they are hurt (By cops, falling, unpassable wall hazard or DJ Cyber's disc during his boss battle).

Unlike Jet Set Radio's combo system, the game's combo can only be increased by leaning left or right before the player character hit a corner while grinding or wallride. The player can also use the boostpack to gain a large amount point multiplied by the player's current combo at the cost of some fuel which is useful for outscoring rival gang in Crew Battle.

When the gang enter the basketball court, they were greeted by a boy with freckles who called himself the Flesh Prince. Tryce explains that when it comes to meat and metal, Prince was an expert at these two elements which was proven by the existence of the entire member of the Franks. Prince said that whenever someone lose a body part, they always come to him even the special case one like Red. Red here hilariously wonder out loud if Prince was his dad much to Prince's dumbfounded reaction at the question. Prince said that he doesn't create human, he only rebuilds them from anything he can find and stated that Red was no different than the others. Tryce mentioned that Prince told him to bring Red for a checkup which Prince said that everything looks alright with Red. While Prince checks at Red, Tryce tries to persuade Prince into giving any info about DJ Cyber due to his connection with the DJ himself but the Prince refuses to spill the info. The Franks said that Red has no idea where his head is nor who he is (No idea of your own blood literally mean don't know his or her self-identity metaphorically). The Frank continued that he can hit the slam dunk because his leg came from top Puerto Rican athlete so he has to know his root or in other word, his past. Before both starts Crew Battle, Bel brings Red to an empty stadium with a pile of cyberheads and whispered that he is not so different than the others. Bel assured him that they can face the Franks in Crew Battle.

When Red about to leave the stadium, Rietveld ambushed him once again in a helicopter. At first, she will shoot a couple of chains with manacles on him using the helicopter but after Red painted the windshield, she will jump out from the helicopter and face you herself. Unlike other police, she will always be airborne and while you were busy with the police, she will suddenly swoop down and punch you which took a 1/3 of health (Dangerous...), 6 hits and she will pull out the helicopter's cannon on you, 7 hits and she will retreat. When she retreats, going back to the court will trigger a Crew Battle with the Franks and the Oldheads act as the mediator and judge. BRC wins the Battle but DJ Cyber appear before the Franks start going overboard. He put Red in a machine to make him dream and in his dream, he saw a familiar face and the dream shift to him falling and remembering the young man he saw in his dream as Faux (Maybe there's something to this last scene). When Red wakes up from the machine, Cyber told his gang to go All City before his Futurism gang does if he wants his head back before leaving
