Leafy Spurge Flea Beetles

Our property is being overtaken by an invasive plant called "leafy spurge." It is toxic, spreads easily and quickly, and puts roots down 10-15 feet. We researched various methods of getting rid of it, which included mowing or pulling up the plant (which could spread the plant), finding a goat or horse to eat the plants, or using herbicides . There's too many plants to pull up, our property is too steep to mow, we don't have a goat or horse, and herbicides could contaminate groundwater and would kill ALL vegetation, which means we'd be back to square one with our erosion control efforts. I finally learned that there are bugs that only eat leafy spurge. It's cheaper and safer than any other option and they multiple so we don't have continuing costs. We bought 1,000 leafy spurge flea beetles from Weedbusters Biocontrol. The beetles arrived today. I videoed EJ releasing them.
