Frost Seeding Our Run-Down Pasture | Farming without a Tractor

I was first introduced to the idea of frost seeding as a method of planting seed through the deer hunting world. Folks wait until a good freeze-thaw cycle (40's during the day dipping down below freezing over night) to plant things like clover as an attractant and food source to hunt deer over. Now I'm using that strategy to seed our pasture with a mix of seed to improve yield and productivity for years to come.
