The Villages has the same problem as every other city in the country. Prices in The Villages have not corrected enough and as demand continues to slow and inventory in northern states rise, The Villages will see a continued pullback of buyers. This is purely economics. As buyers take advantage of higher prices in low inventory states, The Villages and the State of Florida will reap the benefits from this scenario... but not forever. At some point, the low inventory states will see a rise in listings and price drops. But, even if this happens, The Villages and Florida in general can drop prices to keep buyer demand high. It won't be 2021 levels again, but maybe enough to continue building at a constant pace.
