Neil Druckman OUT at HBO Following The Last of US Season 2 FAILURE

It was announced that Neil Druckmann will not be working on season 3 of the HBO series The Last of Us.

This news seems strange considering it was known that Part 2 of The Last of Us game was going to be split between season 2 and season 3 of the series. It’s not as if Neil Druckmann didn’t know another season was going to be made, but now he is acting like he ‘s leaving to work on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet when this could have been announced some time ago. It seems as if since season 2 of The Last of Us performed so poorly thanks to Druckmann’s writing that HBO is laying the blame for the show’s failure at his feet and he was fired from the series.
