This edition of Spotlight was about Irans President Masoud Pezeshkian signing into a law a bill that suspends Tehran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, in the wake of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.

The guests who were asked questions during the program were Leila Hatoum, Editor-in-Chief of MENA Uncensored from Beirut and Dimitri Lascaris, a Journalist and Lawyer from Montreal, Canada. Leila Hatoum said the IAEA has long been a tool in the hands of the US and Israel and Pezeshkian's signing into law the bill marks the end of an era of espionage by the IAEA in favor of the US and the Zionist regime. Lascaris also described the IAEA's stance on Iran as grotesque bias against the Islamic Republic. He added that all the agency has done in the past decades has been to pressure Iran instead of pushing for real nuclear disarmament.
