Welcome to album ranking Wednesdays here on the channel and tonight we are going deep beneath the earth for a ranking of an absolute legendary band in the genre of stoner doom metal with Sleep.

Now for most of you out there im sure this band doesn’t need much of an introduction especially if you were into metal in the early 90s and Sleep have been around for a hell of along time so I don’t really need to go into the bands biography as they are quite well known in the metal world.

They are certainly titans in the stoner/doom metal genre and among the pioneers of it as well along with bands like Electric Wizard and High On Fire. Now granted this is not a genre I’m overly crazy about, there are however bands like Sleep and Electric Wizard, Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats that I love.
