Fishing Philosophy: Why I Never Use Live Bait

There are people who are surprised, for whatever reason one would be surprised by such things, to learn that the Redneck Preppy never uses live bait when he goes fishing. It's all artificial lures, all the time. Why? The Redneck Preppy has a philosophy of fishing which explains his choice.
