Danielle Waugh is a Cherokee County mother who is fearlessly exposing the corruption inside Georgia DFCS and the family court system. After her autistic son was wrongfully removed by DFCS without a court order or any judicial oversight, Marie uncovered what she now calls a non-judicial kidnapping—a removal carried out through guardianship fraud, ICPC violations, and the complete denial of her 14th Amendment due process rights. Her journey began with the wrongful removal of her autistic son, Alex, following the death of his legal guardian—despite a court-ordered guardianship being in place and no legal grounds for DFCS involvement. Without legal notice, a court order, or compliance with the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC), Georgia DFCS sent Alex across state lines to a Texas facility, violating his civil liberties and her federally protected parental rights. Ms. Waugh and a family member Debbie Brown ultimately succeeded in bringing her son home.
