Julie Roys Called a Jezebel? Malachi O’Brien Rants, James MacDonald Cheers
In this video, I respond to recent public comments made by Malachi O’Brien, who alleged that Christian journalist Julie Roys is part of what he calls the "failure porn industry" after she reported on the legacy of Jimmy Swaggart. In his video and Twitter/X post, Malachi refers to her reporting as "evil," claims it's led by a “Jezebel spirit,” and says it does not bring revival, but instead "amplifies offense."

This isn’t the first time Malachi has gone after journalists, YouTubers, or survivor advocates—especially those raising serious concerns about leaders like Mike Bickle and IHOPKC. What’s concerning is the way he frames any form of accountability as demonic, using spiritual language to protect the powerful and shame those calling for truth.

Even more troubling, controversial pastor James MacDonald, who has been the subject of multiple investigations and defamation lawsuits, publicly praised Malachi’s video—thanking him for “standing up for truth” and hinting that he will now “begin to expose” others.

This coordinated messaging—where public reporting is called evil, victims are dismissed, and truth-tellers are spiritually discredited—raises serious questions. Who really benefits when journalism is labeled demonic?

As someone committed to ministry, street outreach, and biblical truth, I’m speaking out—not to attack, but to expose a pattern that’s harming the Church.
