Opinion: Bad theology aside, Israel is uniquely scrutinized and is required to hold an unreasonable standard, that is largely responsible for the predicament today. Donald Trump’s strategy is unique and brought about the end of the 3 No Policy from other Arab nations: (No Treaty, No Peace, No Israel.) Let President Trump cook here. We may finally have peace with a Peace Through Strength mentality. Zionism may or may not have displaced people, historians would debate if those same people would be there today without the Balfour Declaration with the warfare occurring in those lands. However, Anti-Zionism, by definition, is a call for the ethnic cleansing and REGIME CHANGE of Israel. Half of the Anti-Zionist camp or more are the same people wringing their hands at the idea of Regime Change in Iran. Just a note. The Jewish People have every right to protect themselves, we may not have a Theological “Ought”, but I believe we DO have a strong military and perhaps even a moral (love thy neighbor sort of way) ought to strengthen the only Western-esque Republic in the region.
