The soul is different from the spirit, Soul is life force, Spirit is the mannerism in which you can think or see things, a ungodly spirit in a man for example thinks that adultery is "you cant take care of ya bitch so ima do it for you and fuck her"

It may be confusing but this is the foundation cause sometimes it seems as if soul is actually also mental and spiritual for example.. my soul doesnt like this or does like this and sometimes you might feel a song especially a 70s or 80s or even 90s song in your soul.. so yeah it is not difficult to explain but it is something that is able to change per definition

But to use soul and spirit in its basic non confusing form? soul is life force and spirit is mindset.. but soul can also be used as mindset and spirit can also be used as life

If your soul is not upright in you then you have no hope at all and your destiny is just destruction you rather have an evil spirit so that you can repent and then save your soul...

Ezekiel 33:1-11.. you can see this concerning repent from an evil mindset, an evil spirit so that you can save your soul or so that you can tell the ones that are doing evil to repent and thus save your own soul cause you need to warn them if you are in the know...

for example if a poisonous snake is in the grass and you see a group of young israelite boys playing sports in the grass barefoot you NEED to warn them if you know and not suffer them that danger of death or else you are to blame for their deaths...

Minds shall fail before me cause they will wonder away from me, Hosea 4:6 and Jeremiah 17:4...

Read description box and for links and info and i hope i didnt confuse you as i nearly confused myself hahaha... but yeah through the spirit you will understand what it what and when to use soul for life force and for understanding and same with spirit when to use that for life force and understanding (mind, mindset) but their basic usage is soul = life force and spirit = mind, understanding, perceiving...

You see? Here it is used as life force in Genesis 35:18 but in Psalm 24:4 and Habakkuk 2:4 it is used as mindsets to a certain degree...

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

So i pray you understand what i mean with its basic usage (basic foundation, basic forms, beginning usages, beginning meanings)

Soul is life force and spirit is mindset

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The spirit wants to do good and knows better and reminds the body not to do certain things like stare at another mans wife while they walk by and yet sometimes your body still wants to look at that butt of that female to see the shape you find exactly your type...

Judges 15:18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the Lord, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

Here spirit is being used to say that samson nearly did not make it and would die of thirst but then his spirit revived... so i hope that by reading the scripture and understanding how it is used that you would know what to put it in as (what it means at that particular time in the sentence)

But the basic meaning of soul is life force and the basic meaning of spirit is mindset, mannerism, etc.
