Heavy rain in central Colombia opens crater in street

Heavy rains in central Colombia led to the overflow of the Guayuriba and Ocoa rivers, causing floods and landslides in Villavicencio early Tuesday (July 1), according to the National Risk Management Unit director, Carlos Carrillo. A crater appeared on a street in Villavicencio, as residents faced destruction, with homes severely damaged and one fatality reported.
