“Well, originally I was diagnosed with some major damage to the white matter in my brain. I can go into the details about that in just a bit. I also had a serious cardiac condition. My whole body hurt. I was obese. I was forgetful. And I was emotionally out of control.

My life was so frustrating. And like I said, I was very frightened about where it was going. The neurologist said, "There's nothing you can do to correct that. You can't fix that.
