In trying to get to the root cause of the noise you hear in this video, I tried to capture the noise at different stages of the teardown.
This video is after the transmission was removed, I took a video while starting the engine to capture the noise. I had first thought the issue might be with play on the input shaft bearing of the transmission (that's in another of my videos), but the noise is clearly present with the transmission removed and the engine running.
The root cause is actually loose flywheel bolts as a result of the poor clutch/flywheel installation by a shop previous to my ownership of the truck.
I have another video that shows the flywheel only (once the clutch disc and pressure plate were removed) and the noise is still present. And then a further video that shows that the flywheel bolts can be turned by hand they're so loose.
