Aisin AR5 5spd RWD manual transmission - input shaft play bad? 2012 Chevy Colorado

I'm repairing some bad noises from the clutch area on a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado LT rear wheel drive truck with the five speed Aisin AR5 manual transmission. Now that I have the transmission removed, there seems to be significant play on the input shaft (as shown in the video) - is this normal?

UPDATE: I'm going to call this normal, as I traced the issue I was hearing to loose bolts on the flywheel (the clutch had been replaced <10k miles before I acquired the truck, and that shop must not have secured the flywheel bolts properly).
