BLOGCAST, Ep. 47: "When Unitarians Attempt Textual Criticism"

It's a Holiday this week so we're getting this episode of the BLOGCAST out early!

As ancient documents, the biblical texts--due to the manner of their transmission--suffer from the problem of textual variation. Our translations, depending on the sources that they draw from, reflect some of these variations. A few of them have theological significance. The question is, how many of these variations were driven by THEOLOGICAL motivation?

In a recent video, unitarian ⁨@metaphysicsmike⁩ alleges that there are at least seven textual variants that were driven by such theological motivation.

In this video, we look at those texts, specifically the textual evidence that Mike provides, to see whether or not his arguments hold up.

This is a topic of pressing concern that deserves the Triggerman treatment.

Come along!
