Hamzah Sheeraz vs Edgar Berlanga: I Stood Toe to Toe with Canelo

In the FACE OFF Episode, Edgar Berlanga revealed that he's Hamza Sheeraz's biggest fight. Berlanga said, "I am your Canelo," meaning he's in the Canelo position as it relates to being Sheeraz's biggest fight.

Some say Edgar is going too far with this Canelo talk. The Puerto Rican Assassin feels he went toe-to-toe with Canelo. Others feel Berlanga fought to survive.

No matter how you look at it, Edgar Berlanga won't let the Canelo fight go from labeling himself "The King of New York" to receiving the keys to the city, to being thrown a parade by the island of Puerto Rico for losing a 12-round decision to Canelo.

Edgar Berlanga is still riding high off that moral victory. However, Hamza Sheeraz looks at Berlanga as if he is delusional. I'm even hearing rumors that some Boricuas in New York are rooting for Hamza Sheeraz to beat the Puerto Rican Assassin.

Edgar Berlanga says he's got a lot to prove. Berlanga says the Canelo fight came, everybody thought I would get knocked out, but look what happened.

We took the L, but it's how we took the L. 20,000 people came out against me in the Canelo fight, and after the fight, 20,000 people became fans. Some fans say Edgar Berlanga's most significant win is his loss to Canelo.

This is the case. The Puerto Rican Assassin was custom down to the socks. He wore designer jeans with Chrome Hearts and 16-carat diamond-studded earrings in both ears.

He wore the classic TS Terror Squad hat. He wore the Rose gold Rollie with the pavé bracelet. His neck was dripping with ice that only a polar bear can relate to.

Hamza Sheeraz wore an Italian custom-made, 200% wool suit. One fighter was dressed like a rapper, and the other like a businessman. Berlanga told Turki Alashikh that he's the King of New York while acknowledging that Turki is the King as well because Alalshikh owns many hotels in New York City.

Edgar is the King of New York because he owns jewelry and clothes. Turki is the King of New York because he owns hotels in New York. Got it. At the 5-minute mark, I laughed when Berlanga told Sheeraz he's Hamza's Canelo.

The moderator was doing everything he could to keep from laughing at Berlanga. On behalf of the Puerto Rican Assassin, I present a compelling case on why I think Edgar Berlanga will win this fight.

In other news, Bob Arum threw shots at Devin Haney by labeling him a runner in his upcoming fight against Brian Norman Jr.

Bill Haney clapped back by saying, "Bob's senile, running his mouth and forgetting he's no longer in charge," said Bill. "Devin Haney ran to give Brian Norman the biggest fight of his career, while ESPN ran away from doing business with Top Rank. Is ESPN the real track stars running from Bob and his smoke and mirrors?"

Does Bill Haney have a valid point? Or do you think Bob Arum is telling the truth? As for Berlanga vs Sheeraz. The question I have for the people is this.

If the Puerto Rican Assassin lost this fight, would it hurt his stock? Do you think Berlanga is taking the Canelo loss too far in the moral victory category? Let's look at the comments to see what the people have to say.
