You said forever with a crooked smile,
Laced your lies in sugar, sweet and vile.
I drank your poison, slow and blind,
Now the aftertaste won’t leave my mind.

Bitter… like the truth I didn’t see,
Like your love was never really for me.
You played the part, then broke the script,
Left me bleeding from your grip.
Bitter… like your kiss on someone else,
Like watching you love, but not myself.
I gave you gold, you gave me rust—
Now all that's left is bitter dust.

I counted stars while you chased flames,
You called it love, but played with names.

Then fed your hunger while I bleed.
