💥 “Sunscreen: Protection or Poison?”
🔎 Do your own research. Read the labels. Protect your skin — wisely.

"Banana Boat, Coppertone, Hawaiian Tropic, baby oil and iodine–I used them all for decades. I loved the scent of them, liked I loved the smell of the ocean and watching my skin turn brown, unaware of what I was putting on it to "protect" me. Now I abstain from sunbathing because of skin cancers and wanting to avoid accelerated aging, and because I've been through chemo and enough radiation from imaging tests to last me a lifetime. When I go to the beach I'll be sure to wear whatever screen I buy with no petroleum, chemicals, or nano titanium dioxide, blah-blah-blah. You'd think with all the tech advancements someone could develop a sunscreen that was light, non-greasy, non-sticky, clean-smelling, that didn't give you cancer or at least not contribute to endocrine disruption. You'd think."
