Windmill&Hooky bowling4 my 08 marathon.used 10-16lb polyester plastic Hooky ball 24 games 06-29-25

I out did myself this time with game 20: I had 9spare, 9spare, 9spare then the game began & ended with strikes. I had the back 9 strikes for my high game in a long while of a 268. (it was a NO-TAP9 300 game) I had 2 of them on this video.
I decided to ditch trying to be consistent at all with the revving hook ball. let me tell yea what I know of the revving the hooky ball: you do have a 4 times GREATER chance of striking with the revving HOOKY ball, YES BUT the problem is: with the hooky ball your doing 3 things at once (I am NOT a multitasker)
With the hooky ball you need to #1.rev the ball really FAST #2 throw the ball away from the pins at an angle #3 you need HIGH MPH forward drive or you will over hooky any ball you throw & will be inconsistent most of the time plus the big deal with oil & dry lanes & move your shot often! this is why the str8 ball is the ONLY ball I can trust.
The Straight ball has one motion that's ONE motion only! its NOT a multitask throw. it's a str8 in throw or an end over end throw witch means oil & dryness of a lane DOES NOT MATTER. ANY lane condition DOES NOT MATTER. you NEVER EVER move your ball EVER! its ALWAYS the same shot NO MATTER LANE condition. the str8 ball takes the GUESS work out of bowling PERIOD. you will NO LONGER need more then the CHEAPEST ball 1 ball for ALL lane conditions. there will NEVER be a need for another ball period. ONE ball ALL LANE conditions. you do NOT need more then just ONE ball.
The toughest ball today is the urethane ball (you DON'T want plastic polyester because it chips up too bad!) you will only need 1 URETHANE ball for ALL lane conditions. urethane won't chip up like plastic polyester ALWAYS does!
Bowling is a skill game NOT what ball to use on what oil pattern. I mean that makes the ball manufactures MONEY $HAPPY$ if you have a hundred balls BUT they are NOT necessary to BE a BEST bowler on ALL lane conditions!
This is the marathon that PROVES what I say! believe me I had to watch all the PBA 300 games from the 1950's to the 1970's to see how to strike the best with almost NO hook. it wasn't until after the 1970's or about 1980 that the huge hook ball became the thing. (oil on the lanes was only there to protect the lanes from GROOVING)
Now a day however the PBA bowlers MUST have the oil to rev in then hooky as it gets on the dry part of the lane.
Really this is only my 2nd time of throwing str8 balls & I have already BEAT all my attempted hooky in shots! even the WindMill back up ball 254 I had.
