The 33rd Annual NYC Dyke March in Manahatta, Lenapehoking (Manhattan, New York City), was on June 29, 2025.

Thousands gathered in Bryant Park and they marched on 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park, where they ended the demonstration.

They had a banner that said, "DYKES say NO to FASCISM," and another one that said, "ANNUAL NYC DYKE MARCH."

They also had a banner that said, "Free, free Palestine!" Many people had Palestinian flags.

There were many supporters of Zohran Mamdani, the democratic nominee for mayor of New York City. The general election is on November 4, 2025.

"The Stonewall riots (also known as the Stonewall uprising, Stonewall rebellion, Stonewall revolution, or simply Stonewall) were a series of spontaneous riots and demonstrations against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. Although the demonstrations were not the first time American LGBTQ people fought back against government-sponsored persecution of sexual minorities, the Stonewall riots marked a new beginning for the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world.

At 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 1969, four plainclothes policemen in dark suits, two patrol officers in uniform, Detective Charles Smythe, and Deputy Inspector Seymour Pine arrived at the Stonewall Inn's double doors and announced "Police! As the results of the 2024 election have made clear that America’s LGBTQIA2S+ communities are under the greatest threat from the federal government we have experienced since the 1969 Stonewall uprising. This year’s 7th annual Queer Liberation March (QLM) on June 29th will be:

The March will assemble at 11 AM at the NYC AIDS Memorial and St. Vincent’s Triangle Park (7th Avenue between Greenwich and West 12th Streets) and march north to Lenape Circle, dispersing into Central Park.

Walker, "The decision to assemble at The AIDS Memorial was born of a desire both to honor the history of our communities' resilience in the face of a hostile federal government, and to return the energy of Queer Liberation to Midtown Manhattan, as we did with our first two Marches.”
