*INGREDIENTS*

*For the Chicken:*
8 medium chicken thighs with skin on, trim excess fat

*Dry Brine the chicken thighs:*
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
Kirkland Signature Organic No-Salt Seasoning or Mrs. Dash Mrs. Dash Original Blend Salt Free Seasoning Blend, to taste
2 tbsp extra virgin oil for frying
1 tbsp butter for frying

*For the Sauce:*
2 tbsp butter
1⁄2 cup honey, dark amber honey
¼ cup dry orange peel or fresh orange peel. Remember to remove the white pith. The pith will add a sour note to the dish if you do not remove it.
2 tbsp dark maple syrup
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
½ inch fresh ginger, finely grated
¾ tsp smoked paprika
½ to 1 tsp onion powder
½ to 1 tsp garlic powder

*Garnish:*
2 tbsp dark maple syrup, drizzle some over the chicken
2 medium green onions chopped for garnish
