THE ONE WHO LIFTS OUR HEAD AND GIVES US SWEET SLEEP

Psalm 4:8 New King James Version
8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
There is something really thought provoking, as well as encouraging about what I read out of this Psalm, in how David placed his complete trust and faith in God, even though he had his own son after him, to kill him. You see guys, David was on the run from his own son Absalom, because pure and simple Absalom wanted him dead, and he wanted to be king. I think there are a lot of interesting reasons for it, but we all know in the end that Absalom lost his life, because God was not going to allow this young man to succeed. But I see in the midst of this turmoil, the stress, and probably the many nights that David had difficulty getting to sleep, help David trusted God, and in the end, David not only got sleep, but got victory.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of Psalm 3, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you Encouraging to see that when the enemy surrounds you, God will give you that sweet peace and sleep, and you will dwell in safety with Him. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will encourage you to trust God in the midst of the turmoil you were going through, so that you can find that true peace and sleep that you need.

What is your “David moment” today?

Instead of listening to those who distrust God (Psalm 3:2), how are you trusting His offer to protect you?

I don't know what “David moment” that you are going through right now my friend, but I want you to know that you're not in it alone. That when people turn on you, and you feel the need to like David say, “How many are my foes!”, that God walks with you, understands what you’re experiencing, and not only cares about it, but is there to fight for you. I pray that you understand and live out the fact, that when you were going through all those fears and struggles, when the worries, cares, and all the scary things start trying to grip your mind and overtake you, replacing rest with restlessness, know that true hope and rest is found when we pray to God, cast every one of our cares to Him, and allow His peace to wash over us. Choose to turn your focus to God, seek the precious promises from His Word, and you will not only find the answers you're seeking, but the sweet sleep that you so badly need.
