“2” Multipurpose BLOB Play v. Man-to-Man & Zone Defenses:

I was an advocate of simplicity. We didn’t teach our players a ton of BLOB & SLOB plays. The plays we did teach were versatile, so we could execute them v. man-to-man & zone defenses. Yes, it took time to teach the difference in cut angles & timing, we all agreed this trumped teaching a multitude of different plays. Plus, this greatly improved our player’s OFFENSIVE CHATTER.

We stole “2” from an Indiana coaching legend, Coach Chris Benedict, when he was one of the evening clinicians for the coaches who worked at Coach Dick Baumgartner’s Shooting Camp, Richmond, IN.
We offer a wide array of high quality coaching information and resources for prices that are affordable for school-based & personal budgets. $50.00 for a yearly subscription or $5.00 per month, for monthly subscriptions. Additionally, all of our podcasts, on-the-court clinics, & virtual clinics are available to rent.
