Sliders with Rosemary Fries

As with most families, we're on a budget! So when I saw a couple family packs of mini burgers on sale at Sam's Club I had to get those. My Granddaughter loved it! Grabbed a package of hawaiian rolls and we were set! Went home and started rummaging through the refrigerator to see what kind of toppings I might throw on there.
I pulled out my trusty cast iron skillet and went to frying these babies up. A little olive oil in the pan with some McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning sprinkled on them and let the tasty aroma commence!
While that was cooking and oil for fries was heating up, I started prepping my fries and toppings. For the fries I cut some Rosemary from my garden (about 2 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped) and also used Lawry's Garlic Salt (about a tablespoon), along with red potatoes. I'm a cast iron kinda gal, so of course I used a cast iron fryer for deep frying.
I then sliced an onion, 3 to 4 mushrooms and threw in a small skillet with 1 tbsp butter and some minced garlic. Sauteed until carmelized.
Time to build the burgers! You can see in the video how I built these. We ended up with 3 types of sliders. Cheddar/onion/mushroom, green chile/cheddar, and just plain ol' cheeseburger. Once build I brushed some garlic salt/olive oil over the top and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Put in the oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
Sliders are super fun and tasty! You can get creative with these and use pork, chicken, salmon. Just use your imagination! I did it all in one night, but you can definitely cook the burgers up the night before to make it much more time effective on a work night.
