In this deeply personal first appearance, Evvy—also known online as Evvy Awaken using her middle name Evelyn—shares her testimony for the very first time. Raised in a small Canadian town of just 500 people, she was brought up Catholic. At age 15, a transformational experience at a Christian summer camp led her to become a born-again believer, drawn by the light and deep acceptance she experienced. Though she later slipped back into her ego-driven life, she eventually returned to Christ with renewed conviction.

Evvy married five years later and moved to the U.S. with her husband. After 28 years of marriage and raising two children, growing emotional distance revealed a painful void in her life—stemming from early father abandonment and deep-rooted feelings of unworthiness. During COVID, she divorced and left her teaching career when she sensed the field changing in ways that no longer aligned with her calling.

By 2021, with just two suitcases and no clear direction, she chose stillness—to simply abide with Jesus. In the quiet, she watched Him work in unexpected ways, carving out a new chapter of identity, worth, and destiny.
