TheVespor and Ramsis give full review of the Season 1, Episode 10 episode of The Transformers cartoon series from 1984, titled "War of the Dinobots".

Part of our Cartoon Series Review Series here on Vespor's Retro Reviews. This time we are looking at the tenth first season episode. The episode that MOAR Dinobots and MOAR energy sources for Megatron to crave after and MOAR weak plotlines that make no sense! This and more on our latest review of Season 1 of the Transformers!

So you thought three dinobots was over powered and extreme? How about we make two more to add to the Autobot ranks!? That's right. Just like that. Optimus is happy with his latest creations (that he wanted to kill in SOS Dinobots) and decides to have his mad scientists Wheeljack and Ratchet create more out of thin air. And thus, Swoop and Snarl are created. Yep. Just like that. Cool huh?

In this episode as Vespor and Ramsis will look through with you, the Dinobots are ordered to guard a very powerful meteorite that landed in an abandoned town and Megatron decides he will exploit the dinobots and turn them against Optimus Prime and get the power of the meteorite too. Ah all in a day's work for our Decepticons. What can go wrong? Oh only everything.

See our full reviews of episodes based off of this very popular toy line that spawned 4 seasons of episodes and many spin offs based off of transforming robot toys from Hasbro. This is the series that started it all in 1984.

And yes we will be reviewing the entire first season, due to popular demand, and give you our full look at the set of episodes that started off the series that lead to a movie and lasted for almost 100 episodes in total throughout its 3/4 Seasons.

The Autobots, lead by Optimus Prime, are planning to leave to find energy on other planets and escape the Decepticons, but of course the evil Megatron finds out about the Autobots trying to find more energy and follows them and thus their adventure takes them to the Planet Earth many many many years later. And we have..

The Transformers!
