Paul now presents FAITH as the singular means by which we may please God and attain righteous standing before God.
The old order of temporary atonement by works is finished!
You can’t please God with little sacrifices of this or that if you haven’t first put your faith and trust in Him. You must believe that “He Is” and that “He rewards those who diligently seek him”
