VPD officers made their way approximately a quarter mile down the tracks, navigating through thick brush and rough terrain, before locating the victim.

The victim was found pinned beneath the train on a bridge, roughly 40 feet above the ground and 50 feet from the edge of the structure, according to the post.

An officer climbed the train to reach the pinned victim on the bridge, with firefighters soon joining to assist.
