Teenaged Sasquatch Angst; Results of the Overnight Recording

In late June of 2024, I placed a handheld recorder outside overnight on our side deck next to the woods. Prior to that, I installed brand new batteries which should have given at least ten hours of recording time. Something shut the recorder off five hours in. When we checked the batteries, they still had plenty of energy. There was no timer set on the recorder. The toggle switch on the side must be pressed for about two seconds for it to turn on and off. How did it turn off without someone doing that? I had placed the handheld in view of our security camera but there was no movement detected.
The five hours was interesting. There were many, many tree knocks, rock clacking, "owl" and "bird" sounds. Were the sasquatch mimicking the birds and owls? Most interesting was a vocal of an individual who could be heard several times. He sounded like a teenaged male yelling in angst? Big thanks to @LordeStarfox for the awesome graphic art!
