Sprunki Game on an IBM SurePOS 784 from Winn-Dixie

I made this video for an autistic child at work who loves the Sprunki game on sprunkin.com (I work for a school), but decided to share it here for the world to enjoy. It's not every day you get to see a point-of-sale system used for games.

The SurePOS is a "WDX" model, believed to have been special ordered by Winn-Dixie/Southeastern Grocers. It has an Intel CoreDuo processor and I believe 8GB of RAM. In this video, it is running UbuntuMATE with its bundled Firefox browser, all running on a 16 GB USB flash drive from AliExpress (the machine has no hard drive or SSD because Winn-Dixie boots them from PXE, but it has a SATA drive bay). The sound is coming from an HP speaker bar designed to be mounted to an HP monitor (also from Winn-Dixie). It is perfectly capable of running Windows 10 but cannot run Windows 11.

The Sprunki game is copyrighted intellectual property, but since I consider this rather humorous, I believe it qualifies for fair use as parody/satire. It could also be considered educational in that it explores the capabilities of a machine beyond its intended purpose.
