Van Jones Slams Iran but Ignores Jackson, Tennessee’s Real Problems

Van Jones is quick to criticize Iran — attacking their way of life, culture, and religion on national platforms. But while he's busy lecturing another nation, he seems to forget his own roots.

Let’s talk about Jackson, Tennessee — Van’s hometown. Right now, Jackson faces 3.7% unemployment and a sky-high crime rate of 70.99. Streets in his own community are suffering from poverty, violence, and years of neglect. Where’s the outrage about that?

It's always easier to point fingers overseas than to clean up your own backyard. As the old saying goes: “The elephant doesn’t see its own hind parts.” And right now, that elephant is loud, proud — and blind.

Van, if you're going to speak on global injustice, start by offering real solutions at home. Because false knowledge shouted from a platform is often more dangerous than silence — as Socrates warned.

📢 What do you think? Should public figures clean up their hometowns before preaching abroad?
