Polka dots, poodles, PVC and painted-on cupids — Francesca Murri’s Spring 2026 collection for Fiorucci was playful on the surface but pulsing with subtext. Staged in the courtyard of Casa Fiorucci — reimagined as "Piazza Fiorucci" — the show proposed a love-fueled pop fantasy with a clear political undertone. Baseball caps on every seat read “Make hearts beat again,” echoing Murri’s ongoing mission: to restore Fiorucci’s cultural heartbeat while commenting on a fractured world.

Cartoonish motifs and childlike imagination collided with body-conscious silhouettes, sensual PVC outerwear, sheer tops adorned with the brand’s iconic angels, and lip-shaped accessories in glossy finishes. For men, cropped cardigans and low-slung pants added sporty irreverence with a preppy twist.

Murri also blurred the line between fashion and art: archival Fiorucci tees and graphics were reinterpreted by Janine Zaïs as trompe-l'œil body paint, paired with deconstructed denim. It was a moment where nostalgia, irony, and pop excess met thoughtful subversion — and it worked.
