In this video, I react to Cash Jordan’s coverage titled “Rioters Storm ICE Jail… Migrant Criminals ‘Walk Free’”, unpacking the chaotic scenes at Delaney Hall, ICE’s detention center in Newark, New Jersey. Protesters and detainees went from unrest to breaking out—and it’s troubling to see the law losing grip.

Detainees overpowered a wall inside the facility, with reports stating four escaped using makeshift ropes and a smashed wall.

At the same time, protesters outside stormed the gates—blocking exits and clashing with ICE officers, allegedly pushing vehicles, pepper-spray use, and chaos at the entrance .

I’m critical of both the internal uprising and the external mob tactics. Escaping custody and storming a secure facility puts public safety at risk.

Legal protest should never enable escapes or block law enforcement—it’s reckless and irresponsible.

ICE must re-establish control quickly—detained individuals include serious offenders, and escapes threaten everyone.
