In Psalms 112–117, we see a portrait of the person who fears the Lord, a celebration of God’s faithfulness to His people, and a crescendo of praise declaring that His steadfast love endures forever. These psalms invite us to live with reverence, trust, and joy—responding to God’s goodness with lives of worship and obedience.

Questions:
1. Psalm 112 describes the blessings of the one who fears the Lord and delights in His commands. How does this psalm challenge common views of what it means to live a “blessed” life?

2. Psalm 115 contrasts lifeless idols with the living God who hears and acts. What are some modern forms of idolatry, and how can we guard our hearts from trusting in them?

3. Psalm 116 is a personal expression of love and gratitude toward God for His rescue. How can we develop a habit of remembering and responding to God's past faithfulness in moments of present difficulty?
