The Big Shave (1967)

Experimental short film directed by Martin Scorsese. The film features a young man (Peter Bernuth) who enters a pristine white bathroom to shave. What begins as a routine grooming session escalates into a disturbing act of self-mutilation, as he continues to shave beyond the point of injury, resulting in a bloody spectacle. The film is set to the 1937 jazz tune "I Can't Get Started" by Bunny Berigan.
