Can knee arthritis cause plantar fasciitis?

A Veteran reached out to me a few weeks ago asking about a current diagnoses he had of plantar fasciitis in his feet. He wondered if the VA would consider service connection for his plantar fasciitis as secondary to one of his other injuries - knee osteoarthritis. I share my thoughts on the relationship between those two conditions in this video.
