Enrique Granados – El Fandango de Candil (Saxophone Octet + Piccolo & Flute)

The “Goyescas” are reflection on paintings by Francisco Goya. They were written between 1909 and 1911. They we subtitled “Los majos enamorados” (The Gallants in Love). The original piano pieces are extremely difficult.

The El Fandango de Candil (Fandango by Candlelight) is the third movement from the suite entitled "Goyescas" by Enrique Granados. It is a delightfully challenging romp!
