Lord Jagannath is a divine form of Lord Krishna, the Supreme Lord of the Universe. The word Jagannath means “Lord of the Universe”, and He resides in the sacred city of Puri, Odisha, along with His elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra. Every year, millions of devotees gather for His grand Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival), where the Lord Himself comes out of the temple to bless His devotees.

Jagannath’s unique form—with large round eyes and no visible limbs—is not just symbolic, but deeply spiritual. It shows that God sees everything, embraces everyone, and is beyond all forms and boundaries. His appearance teaches us that true divinity lies not in outer beauty, but in the depth of love and compassion.
